Problems/ Time Machine

I miss the time before MBT became Emby and it worked.

Don't get me wrong, I am grateful, but years ago everything just worked.(sigh)

 

Ok... I will literally pay someone to get my emby theater playing using VLC.

 

A long time ago in the legacy version I just selected VLC as my player and the appropriate command line arguments filled in thanks to someone else's hard work.

 

About a year ago I spent two months trying different things until it finally worked, but then an update cleared all that out... I then switched back to the legacy version, and it worked fine, but now after an emby server update the legacy version wants me to "sign in" and nothing I try works.

 

I don't have months to spend fixing it just to have another update come along, so if someone can help me get VLC working and help me turn off all Fr*hKi#! updates I will be thankful and will send some paypal cash your way.

I'm curious, why do you want to use VLC? Is the internal player not working for you?
