https over internet setup

Hi,

I have the kodi-emby-addon installed in my local network and use it in "native mode". It does not transcode anything and I love it.

Now I want to setup an other client away from home over https. I assume I can not use "native mode" and direct-play  if the media-shares are not available over the internet. Is this correct?

Which setting would be correct for "direct-stream" with https over internet? I would like to make sure that nothing gets transcoded.

Addon playback mode, default setting should work. Default is set to direct play over http.
