Delaying Media scan after a change in library files.

Awhile back someone was having trouble with the server scanning to fast when a new file was created and one of the devs told him how to put in a longer delay and I seem to behaving the same problem however I cant find that thread now. If I remember right it was a regedit that needed to be done to change the milliseconds that it waited and I want it to wait about 3 min before it scans. If someone can post that I a would really like the info again thanks.

Am I right these are in milliseconds if so could some one tell me what 1 minuet would be thanks again. The default is set to 8

Believe it is in seconds. 8 milliseconds just seems way too often to be checking for new content.

I have exited the server and edited the proper line in the .xml to 240 saved it and reloaded the server is that right to make it a 4 min delay. I need it to be a wile so the file can finishing moving to the NAS and MCM can get the meta before the scan interfears with it.

Do you know if The watcher can be disabled ? That way it would only run from the Trigger time set instead .

What would happen if you would set the delay to 90000000000000 or something outrageous like that
