spodfu49 15 Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 the server should be able to wake and sleep a pc to start and end a recording,playback,etc. this is useful if the server is installed on a pc that is the server and only client. also useful if clients connect from separate devices. this equals power savings,lower usage of pc components, which equals a longer life of the components. and security is increased through the internet connection disconnecting when not in use. it is not a good idea to leave a pc connected to the internet with ports open. if you are away from the server this makes it worse, you will not see any unnecessary disk, ethernet, wifi activity. 1

inzombyac 69 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I'd have no issue running the server as Admin in order to get this feature. IMO, the server should be running as a service by default anyway.
