No actor information

I installed Emby server and Emby WMC on a Windows 7 computer. When an actor in the server application is clicked it brings up the actors movies in my collection and the wiki information.

 

When I do the same thing in in Emby WMC I get a big red square that quickly goes away and then I just get the actors movies in my collection. No information  from the wiki site on the actor.

Hi @@tyler811, welcome! Can you do a comparison and please check the same person in both the web app and Emby WMC. Do they provide the same data or different data? Thanks !

Hi.  EMC just doesn't have an actor detail screen.  It never has.

Sorry my bad, the Emby server has the actors details but EWMC does not.

Hi @@tyler811 currently this is expected behavior. We have not added this feature to Emby for WMC yet. Have you checked out our new app, Emby Theater? It is designed to be a full replacement for Windows Media Center:
