Logout on exit?

Is there a way to get ET to logout automatically when a user exits or sleeps the pc?

When you login, just uncheck the box "Remember Me".

If my users have no passwords I don't see that screen.

Yes that is currently true.

Also, pressing ok on my remote after entering a password doesn't log me in, I have to go down to the sign in button. Is this also by design?

It could change but we would have to figure out a place where to put the Remember Me option.

I think you should be able to click the log in manually button or whatever it says and type your username in. The log in automatically box is there and can be unchecked. You'll only need to do this once.
