Ongoing Trakt problems

Emby keeps resetting my watch states in Trakt. It's insanely frustrating. I've tried all the various settings. I've spent a ton of time -- three times now -- fixing my watched statuzes on Trakt. I run the "Import playstates from trakt.tv" and then "Sync library to trakt.tv", and everything is fine... for a bit. Then a day or so later my watch states get completely reset! Not totally wiped, but reset to the previous state before setting up trakt. I've tried checking and unchecking the various options -- nothing seems to help. How do I even track the problem down?
