is people refresh task needless now?

Hey

looks like finally the actor images work as expected. Can we turn off the people refresh task now or does it still have a right to live?

At the moment I'm refreshing once a week, the harddrives of my NAS rumble for hours, so turning off this task would be really healthful for them I guess .-)

I believe depending on how your library was processed it updates people metadata is older than 30 days old.  Sure your initial scan lumps the majority it that category but as media is added you do get a staged affect doing daily updates.  So in theory running once a month would cover you entire library but who knows how long it will take.
