mishref 0 Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Hello, Experiencing erratic crashes (stable for a couple days (or one), then crashes); I believe this is related to the UPNP, so I have disabled the port mapping / DLNA server as mentioned in another post. Going to send the logs for reference and advise if this resolves the issue. Thanks for all of your help! log: sendlogs_kloft3_synology_bromolow_rs3617xs_20161129T081405UTC.tgz

mishref 0 Posted December 2, 2016 Author Posted December 2, 2016 Since I followed your instructions in another post - its been stable since the 29th. Reposting here just incase someone comes across the same issue: 1) Manage Server -> Advanced -> Untick Enable automatic port mapping 2) Manage Server -> Extras -> DLNA -> Untick Enable DLNA Play To 3) Manage Server -> Extras -> DLNA -> Untick Enable DLNA server
mishref 0 Posted December 7, 2016 Author Posted December 7, 2016 What version of Emby Server? 3.0.8500.0-1 I have experienced two crashes (still not as regular as before) - just posted the logs in case it helps: sendlogs_kloft3_synology_bromolow_rs3617xs_20161207T205203UTC.tgz
Luke 42077 Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Hi @mishref There is an error coming from the realtime monitor, and it's happening in a way we can't catch and that is causing the server to crash. To resolve, I would suggest disabling it for each of the libraries you've turned it on. If you don't want to do that, you could first try removing all plugins and seeing if the issue persists with the core server. And if you do end up turning it off, the next stable release will update to a newer mono runtime, so you can always try re-enabling it at that time. Thanks !
mishref 0 Posted December 8, 2016 Author Posted December 8, 2016 (edited) Thanks for the feedback, I have disabled the live-monitoring, will keep track of the device to see if it was the cause of the issue. I have removed all but two plugins : Kodi Sync queue Trakt If disabling live monitoring doesn't fix the crashes, will try with above plugins. This instance isn't being used regularly - so if there are any beta versions or tests I can run to help, let me know. I have no issues rebuilding emby from scratch if I break it. solabc16 379 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Hello @@mishref Have you updated to the latest stable? Interested to hear how you're getting on and whether you are still having any issues. Best - James
mishref 0 Posted January 7, 2017 Author Posted January 7, 2017 Hello @@solabc16 Ever since disabling live monitoring it's been rock solid (even before the update). Going to enable live monitoring to see if the issue is resolved with the update. Overall, since I have been using notifications for new movies/shows - everything has been showing up anyway.
solabc16 379 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Thanks for taking the time to do that @@mishref, look forward to your update. Best - James
solabc16 379 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Hello @@mishref How did you get on with live monitoring enabled? Best - James
mishref 0 Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 Running Version 3.2.1.0 - still experiences random crashes. I have disabled live monitoring once again to see if thats the cause of the issue.
