User Display Settings Not Saving

Hi

I have just done a clean install of Emby for Media Center, version 307, on my client pc and as a result whenever I change the views on my libraries with EMC they are not saving and just going back to the default.  For example, I change the view on my movies from Coverart to Poster.  When I close EMC and go back in the view on Movies has reverted back to Coverart.

I am running server beta 3.1.237.0

Hi, I see you're testing the beta server. Perhaps you can temporarily shut that down, then test a portable installation of the stable server for comparison?

Just for context, since you are running a testing version of Emby Server I'm assuming that you're willing to participate in these kinds of activities. Thanks !

Hi Luke

Will download portable installation of stable server to test for comparison.  I am more than happy to test things.

Hi Luke

I have tried EMC with portable installation of stable server and everything is working fine.  I am able to go in and change the views from coverart to something else and it is saving the view.  The problem described has only starting happening after the last couple of server beta installations.

Do you need me to forward any log files from beta server or portable installation?

Ok thanks for the report. Yes a log file from the beta server would be great. thanks.

HI Luke

Have just noticed that 3.1.238.0 server beta is available right now.  I have downloaded and installed it on my server.  The latest beta has fixed the tour option on home screen and I can also now save my display settings on the web front.  I have tested EMC with the latest server beta build and my view settings are now saving on EMC.

Thanks for sorting this out.
