CharleyVarrick 283 Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 It's been 6.5 hours and under Romance genre I am now down to 6 tv series ( I had 12 earlier). This after refreshing.

Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 @@Happy2Play have you seen this? @@Luke I just removed Romance (TV) in Genre cleaner and click Save and then Start Library Scan and library scan took 4 minutes and 17 seconds and removed Romance genre that had 5 series listed before library scan.

Luke 42077 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Yes, a library scan is needed, or you can just wait for the next scheduled scan because it doesn't have to happen immediately.

The plugin explicitly says that. Once you have configured all your genres, the next library scan will run the GenreCleaner against all your items.
