Ich have to do this manually thx for help cu Taurec P.S. please don't answer with: there are not so many series with the same name, you can do this manually I like to rename all my series folder with year. ups .... sorry for the title of the topic Edited November 23, 2016 by Taurec
Spaceboy 2573 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 (edited) \\video_series\Nikita (2010)\Season 01\Nikita (2010) - S01E01 - pilot Like the above I believe. Bulk rename utility is what you need to rename them //video_series/Nikita (2010)/Season 01/Nikita (2010) - S01E01 - pilot Edited November 23, 2016 by Spaceboy
Taurec 60 Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 Hi Spaceboy, thx for response. This is also not working, and for some series the whole path incl. file name are to long (when i rename the files also.) cu Taurec
Happy2Play 9784 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 First question would be what is your metadata downloader order for series? As for the Nikita example well technically you would name them as they appear on the provider. But most same name shows only the newest one contains year in name. tvdbNikitaLa Femme Nikita Same name example look at The Flash original is "The Flash" Current is "The Flash (2014)
Luke 42085 Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Exactly, assuming tvdb is your default provider, the best thing to do is check how it is named on http://thetvdb.com/
Taurec 60 Posted November 24, 2016 Author Posted November 24, 2016 Hi Guys, you are right and i use this naming at the moment. (according the tvdb naming). I see, there is only the possibility to adjust the assignment manually. For information: with attached year in the proper emby the series does not recognize. After manual assignment, newly added episodes are scanned correctly. thx guys cu Taurec
