Emby Server on Qnap > Version 3.1.225.0 beta

Hi Luke,

FYI

 

After a couple of mounth i'm able to update the Emby Server on a Qnap TVS-871T

 

The last working version is the 3.1.225.0 beta (running at the moment)

 

All higher beta versions are not starting.

 

Some other points:

When a user disconnect from server the Info Field of the active devices show a empty field (see pic)

 

 

The Emby Session show two <ArrayOfSessionInfoDto>

The firstshow all data and Username, the second show all data but without UserId, UserPrimaryImageTag and the Username

It takes 10 minutes to receive / show the correct connected Users.

(Sorry for that but i user the Emby session xml for the rainmeter skin)

 

(When you take a look at this, is it possible to implement the state of downloading a file at the sessions ? :-) )

There are breaking changes in 234 that the package maintainers need to adjust to so that's why it isn't starting.

P.S. All beta Server versions after 225 will not start.

When i copy the 225 version back, a msg apears that the database has to update.

just for information.
 
Try to update the Emby Server from v3.1.225.0 beta to v3.1.242 beta
(take all files from mono zip v3.1.242 beta and overwrite all file on the qnap emby server)
 
Emby does't start.

i need some help.

try to install Emby v3.1.0 (update from v3.1.225.0 beta)

 

I have deinstalled / removed all plugins.

Try to Update and/or install the Qnap Paket.

Emby Sever is not reachable.

 

What can i do ?

Do you have some idea?

Hi @@Taurec, I believe this is being caused by a plugin. Can you please go here:

/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Emby/Emby/ProgramData-Server/Plugins

Then remove all .dll files, and try starting up the core server on it's own. Please let me know if this resolves the issue. thanks !

Hi Luke,

i try it again but it was not successful.

 

Try it with follow steps:

 

- deinstall all Plugin at Emby Server

- shut down Emby Server

- delete all dll in /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Emby/Emby/ProgramData-Server/Plugins (folder are complete empty)

- install Emby Server v3.1 paket

- overwrite all file on Qnap install folder with Emby Sever v3.1.1 zip

- start Emby server

 

Hope you see at the log files some reason for it.

OK, with Firefox a had the problem.

With crome it works.

Just tested on FF 51 and see one is unable to edit, add or delete info to the css box.

 

Edge and Chrome work fine.

Really? i just tried 51 here and it was ok, both adding css as well as clearing it out.

I cleared browser cache logged in multiple different ways and even tried FF 50 on a different machine and am unable to edit,  add or delete anything in that box.  Removed all previous custom css with same results.
