Music: album artwork is not displaying

When I click on the "Album" heading in my music collection, all my albums show up with the default generic music icon instead of the my custom album images.  If I click on a specific album, I also see the generic music icon on the screen for that album.  However, if I click on any of the songs listed for an album, the album art displays properly on the individual song's page.  I don't have any album art stored as jpegs in any of my album folders, it is all embeded in the individual music files.  Do I need to extract and create an album jpeg for each album folder, or should Media Browser be able to show the album art for the album listing from the artwork embedded in the individual song files?

 

I am viewing my collection through the HTML5 client.
