carlitoska 0 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Hi, Since I have mistakely added a wrong episode to my Simpsons TVShow folder both initial and incremetal sync fails depite I have corrected the mistake. I performed KODI DB reset, re-added my whole TVShow library (with all of teh TVShows) in Emby but no Success. It happens both on LibreElec RPI and Windows build of KODI. This is my biggest TVShow folder with 28 seasons Please find the KODI log here. Please help Thank you in advance, Carlos
carlitoska 0 Posted November 21, 2016 Author Posted November 21, 2016 (edited) Hi null_pointer, Thanks for the quick reponse. You can find the emby log here. I have taken a look at it but no information was preset for my eyes. Can you take a look please? Actually it's odd that it worked before with the same number of episodes. Now it doesn't. To test I have moved the whole "The Simpsons" directory outside the media library (then a cleaned the library) and then sync went fine. Later I re-added the whole directory and the same error appears. Do you have any idea what the cause of the problem could be? Is it the number of episodes or any other reason? Thanks, Carlos Edited November 21, 2016 by carlitoska
mastrmind11 722 Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 It's likely the number of seasons. Try creating a Simpsons folder, add a few seasons, then manually sync. Repeat until all your seasons have been added.
carlitoska 0 Posted November 22, 2016 Author Posted November 22, 2016 Hi, Thanks for all the suggestions. It seems that it IS related to the season number as 10 seasons went well, 20 seasons also with more waiting time, but 28 seasons worked with a fast computer but not with a slower one. I think it is as straithforward as it's written in the dialogue box: the timeout is reached. Do you guys know how to increase the timeout? I'm pretty sure that could solve the problem. Thanks,
carlitoska 0 Posted November 23, 2016 Author Posted November 23, 2016 Thanks. Isn't there a config option to increase it? For examle in a config file? Thanks
schumi2004 9 Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 (edited) I think it's NFS related. For some reason it takes a lot of time for Emby addon (or server) to get a response (or give a response) which results in NFS connection going in IDLE state and connection will be lost. I'm running the following version on AMD and RPi's LibreELEC (community) (Kodi 17 beta5 and beta6) Running the following addon and server versions: Addon: version="2.3.22" Server (DS715): version 3.0.8500.0 First i changed all addon.xml's to have them properly installed in Kodi. <import addon="xbmc.python" version="2.24.0"/> Then i did several attempts in initial setup all giving a timeout pretty quickly. Then i tried @@carlitoska's suggestion to increase timeout value. I changed it in file: plugin.video.emby\resources\lib\downloadutils.py line 36 and changed it to 120. Restarted Kodi and now it seems to work better, no time out yet. /EDIT: After completing initial setup my collection isn't displayed. I see a Series entry but no Movies, when opening Series it's empty and i see several messages in log saying not being compatible`(unsupported protocol(library)) but that's a addon (Skin helper Service) thing i guess. Switching back to default skin doesn't make the entries work either. So i guess upgrading to beta 5 wasn't a smart move to do Edited December 2, 2016 by schumi2004
