Which tv server backend for autotimer/series timer

Hello.

 

I am totally new the live tv / dvr section of emby. I have an old twin tuner card from digitaldevices (dvb-s) which I would like to use.

My server runs Windows7 X64.

 

LiveTV is not important for me. For me emby should do all the recordings. For now I use an enigma2 box (xtrend 9200) which uses autotimer and automatically detects if a new episode of a series is in the epg and records it. This is a very nice feature.

 

So my question is: Which tv server backend works stable with autotimer / series timer?

Is there a dvbviewer plugin for emby? I have a licence for it so I would like to try out

I know that NextPVR has autotimer, but I would to know if it is well integrated into emby gui .

Yea I think they all support automated series timers.

Yes, it's in Emby's plugin catalogue.

The series schedule function of Emby creates an Auto-EPG-Search entry in DVBViewer recording service based on the program title.
