Deathsquirrel 745 Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 I started with this movie collection quite a while back when most movie posters were put out at 1000X1500. Fanart.tv is only taking posters at 1000X1426 so a lot of newer posters are that size. I understand Emby stretches the movie poster to 2X3 which matches the older resolution. If I were to use all 1000X1426 posters would they stretch or would they stay at that ratio? I am, to put it lightly, VERY disinclined to change my posters over so this is just idle curiosity. I went to post a movie poster I'd just finished & they didn't want it due to the image size. Got me to thinking.
Solution Luke 42085 Posted November 13, 2016 Solution Posted November 13, 2016 It can vary per app, some apps can adjust the container A/R's to fit your images, while others have fixed A/R's defined in the app. So for the web app, the answer is no, it will stay at 2:3. 1
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted November 13, 2016 Author Posted November 13, 2016 Figured as much, thanks Luke. Further proof that 1000X1426 is just plain wrong
