Hiller131 0 Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I'm assuming there was a software update that caused a problem but when I try to play "Cars" for my son I get video and no audio. I have tried with both the bitstream option on and off. Other files play fine. I sent a log at 9:54AM from my Shield TV. Please let me know if there is any additional info I can provide.

Hiller131 0 Posted November 12, 2016 Author Posted November 12, 2016 There is no question. My son has watched it quite a bit. It's hooked to an AVR. Other titles play with sound but not this one. It plays fine on all my other devices.
ebr 16169 Posted November 12, 2016 Posted November 12, 2016 Okay, please make sure you try the beta that went up last night (.75). It should play it as well. Also, does the AVR in question support TrueHD?

ebr 16169 Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 I think it was related to the 3.3 update on the Shield. Before that, we were able to downmix TrueHD as straight DD. Now we can't.
