lamero 1 Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Download missing subtitles operation takes a lot of time and CPU usage. Luke 42077 Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 What you're seeing is currently not normal, it's due to open subtitles returning server errors. Anyway if you're unhappy with the performance of the scheduled task you are welcome to reduce the frequency of it and/or turn it off.
sscheib 11 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Just attaching here Hello, I've the problem, that I don't get any subtitles downloaded at all - is this some opensubtitles (server/service) problem or am I miss something on my side? I verified, that both user and password are entered correctly. Logging in over at opensubtitles is working as well. BTW: - Which subtitle formats does emby recognize? - Where do they have to be placed? - Any special naming required? - Is it working with emby for kodi? Thanks!

The issue above looks to be related to an OpenSubtitle server issue. Hopefully by now they've resolved it. Your issue might be different, so the best thing to do is please provide the information requested in how to report a problem. Thanks ! Additionally, if you'd like to review our subtitle naming guide, you can do that here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Subtitles Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
lamero 1 Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 I think that is a new issue. OpenSubtitle username/password are ok and in the past this function worked for me
