Latest watched media displays with server set to hide

I have the "hide watched content from latest media " option set on in the server , yet I still see watched content . 

 

I'm on version 3.0.8500.0 but the issue has been around for few versions at least .  Possibly just need to reset a database file?

Hi, welcome. Can you please discuss an example? How are you determining that it is watched? Thanks.

I noticed it because I had actually watched the content... Then marked as watched (which actually marked it as unwatched, as the star reappeared in the corner on MBC), then I retoggled it to watched (star gone again in MBC ). It happens on all my TV and movies. The same content does not appear in the unwatched view.
