Live TV no longer Direct Plays

Live TV was direct playing consistently on my nVidia shield but recently I have noticed stuttering in playback of live TV. Upon inspection I found that it is now transcoding all Live TV streams

 

I use a HDHR running with a Synology 916+ emby server.

Apologies, wasnt trying to duplicate but make sure it was appropriately placed. I just tried live TV on nVidia Shield with "use VLC" disabled in client and playback fails.

Still an issue for me. I can however play back using the VLC option.

Have you tried going into the emby app in the app management section and clearing the data and cache.  This helped me when I was having problems with direct streaming not working.

I did actually but no luck. What's weird is in the server interface it shows as transcoding but it never actually does. Yet when I playback on my iphone it does transcode properly.

Just sent in my logs from the Android TV app @ 12:39. I have direct play enabled and try to play back CNN from my HDHOMERUN.
