Add feature in Series to sense upcoming movie or tv series

Folks, I have been using EMBY for most of this year and is just phenomenal! With each release or update I just grin.  I am wondering if it is possible to add a feature under LIVE TV - SERIES where one can type in a particular TV series NOT yet being televised and once available begin automatic recordings?  Currently the series needs to be in actual current TV Schedules.  I am fond of western TV series from 1950-1970s as an example and sometimes find they started a few weeks ago and missed the first ones.  Similarly, for movies.  I like using www.imdb.com to verify certain things to include banners etc and would use the actual naming convention detailed.  If this is possible, please.  Again, you all have a remarkable piece of living software that just gets better everyday and want to thank all for the hard work.
