Emby wont load

I have a Roku 3. when i try to open Emby, I get a screen that says retrieving. Some times you can see the Emby logo in the top left corner and sometimes you can only see the very top of the logo. this screen is up for about 5 seconds and then it goes back to the Roku home screen. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app and reboot the Roku. that had no effect. I am still able to access Emby through my phone app, that still works.

please help. I don't know how to pull any logs from the roku or how to get them here if I did.

You've used emby connect, and you've used sign out.

You can fix it by removing all emby apps from your roku. It should ask, "are you sure?". When it asks this it will also delete the registry for the app. After deleting all of the emby apps restart your roku. When the roku reboots add back your emby roku apps.

 

Remember when using emby connect, do not use sign out, use change server instead. This is what creates the problem.
