Alternate address missing 2.3.5

What happened to the alternate address setting in version 2.3.5, I can't find it.

It's gone. The addon detects if it needs to connect locally or remotely when Kodi is started or the Kodi profile is loaded.

well that's a shame... consider my scenario... when trying to access remotely usually on the networks that I use port 8096 is closed, so I would set the alternate address with a dns service address and with port 80 (I have set up my home router to reroute port 80 to 8096) so in this way I could get access to my Emby server from a locked network.

 

Now I will not be able to do this???

Is this what you set up as your external address in your emby server? You can add this information to your emby dashboard > advanced > external domain, with the correct port and you should be set. Let me know.
