elshagon 44 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 With my movies when I click on a movie it goes straight to the video page to push play. I've set up a library for my home movies and set it to "Home Videos and Photos" as the content. When I go into Emby Theater and click to watch one of my home movies it doesn't take me straight to the page to push play/see info/view backdrops but instead takes me to another page where I have to click an image again to get to my play page. Is there any way to set up a library to work as movies does where if I click on a video to watch it will take me straight to the play page?
Luke 42085 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 It's displaying your folder structure. What you can do is just press the play button on your remote as a shortcut and it will play the selected item.
elshagon 44 Posted November 2, 2016 Author Posted November 2, 2016 I was hoping to be able to go straight to the videos play page like it does with movies so I can view the backdrops of my home movies. It just seems clunky to have to click through a page in between when there's only one video inside each folder for my home movies. I tried the other content types as well, and it seems only movies has the behavior I want.

Then everyone complained that we weren't honoring their folder structures that they specifically setup so we changed it to do that in these cases. 1
