udiggity 3 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Movies/TV etc are showing up as just the folder with all items in it instead of the old "latest" that used to show up. This started happening after an update a couple months ago. the web client displays correctly, but all 3 rokus only show the full library now, anyone know how to fix that?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Both Emby and Themed Roku apps display same as web client on my Roku 3 (using beta server). Not sure how you could get a folder view on the app and not web client.

Is it showing a single folders row, with Movies and TV icons that when clicked into show the entire library? ... or ... Is it showing the movie and TV rows seperately, but lacking the toggles for latest, genre, etc.. instead showing the entire video library on that row? How are the library items added? Is TV added as type TV and movies as type movies? Does the user logged in have access to those Movies/TV libraries? If you recreate an entirely new user and give them access to those libraries is this user working correctly? Seeing a picture and knowing the answers above will help diagnose your situation and clue us in how to resolve it. Edited November 2, 2016 by speechles
Guest Grace1313 Posted November 9, 2016 Posted November 9, 2016 i actually just noticed this today. I have had these libraries set up for a long time. They were working fine just the other night and last night I noticed no 'latest'. I think it may have something to do with me recently changing the episode names of all my files. One of the users on my server didn't have any file names changed and their 'latest' shows up. Other than that, the only other thing I've done in the last 2 days is add a new library that included the same folders that are in the libraries that do not show 'latest', then I ended up deleting it. I don't see how that would cause any issue, but I thought I'd mention it.
Solution Guest Grace1313 Posted November 9, 2016 Solution Posted November 9, 2016 Looks like that was my issue. Somehow in the midst of renaming my episodes or adding that other library, all episodes got marked played. I have no idea if the op was having the same issue I was or not. 1
