b0mb 36 Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 (edited) Hi! I just found out how usefull the auto organize feature of emby that i´m using on OMV is. Everything seems to be fine so far but the Empty Dirs and left files like .nfo are not deleted after the episode have been moved to destination. Any1? Thx! b0mb Edited November 1, 2016 by b0mb
Luke 42077 Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 This is off by default and needs to be enabled in auto-organize settings.
b0mb 36 Posted November 1, 2016 Author Posted November 1, 2016 I've activated and configured it already.... Gesendet von meinem LG-D855 mit Tapatalk
Luke 42077 Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Ok, then please discuss a specific example in detail. thanks.
b0mb 36 Posted November 2, 2016 Author Posted November 2, 2016 What kind of example do you mean? I push the folder with the files to the folder that is scanned by emby. Everything is going fine except deleting of the left files and the empty folder that is not really empty. Hehe I also can't see anything in the debug log either. b0mb 36 Posted November 2, 2016 Author Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Ok! Deleting the files seem to work now but it would be nice if the process would work recursively so that included folders that contains subs for example will be deleted, too. Edited November 2, 2016 by b0mb
Luke 42077 Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 It does but depending on what files might still be left inside, it may choose not to delete the folder. That decision making over what file extensions should be deleted is not exposed in configuration at this time.
b0mb 36 Posted November 3, 2016 Author Posted November 3, 2016 I defined what files to delete but some of them are in a subfolder so it would be nice if I could choose to delete subfolders and the files within also ;-) Gesendet von meinem LG-D855 mit Tapatalk

b0mb 36 Posted November 3, 2016 Author Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) Hmm... That doesn't sound logical to me or I might don't understand you. ;-) In my opinion anything else that is smaller than the Minimum size I've defined could be deleted after moving and renaming of my.mkv Gesendet von meinem LG-D855 mit Tapatalk Edited November 3, 2016 by b0mb
b0mb 36 Posted November 5, 2016 Author Posted November 5, 2016 i defined the following file types for deletion .nfo;.url;.idx;.sub it seems like the .nfo files will be deleted sometimes but not anytime... hmmmmm
Luke 42077 Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Please make sure to always see how to report a problem: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/790-how-to-report-a-problem/?view=getnewpost Thanks.

I guess I already did. There is also nothing to find in the log file [emoji6] Gesendet von meinem LG-D855 mit Tapatalk
b0mb 36 Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 BTW I've found out that the problem might belong to the rights... I still need to clear this point if I find some time but I've had different cases now where everything went fine [emoji6] Gesendet von meinem LG-D855 mit Tapatalk
