Willo 0 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 HI Guys, So far so good, Media Browser 3 works a treat I'll definitely be contributing once I get time after ironing out some bugs/annoyances. This thread relates to Media Browser Server Version 3.0.5115.35703 So for this thread just need a bit more info on a couple of observations. First: In my logs I'm getting error messages; 2014-01-21 17:49:33.1740, Error, ProviderManager, FanArtArtistProvider failed refreshing "Music Artisit Name" \\Serverpath\Artist Access to the path ' \\Serverpath\Artist\fanart.jpg' is denied. System.UnauthorizedAccessException I'm not sure why it is trying to do here, I have selected the option of storing the images etc.. away from where the content is stored??? Also the account I use for the Media Browser service has permissions at this network path. Secondly, Also wondering what the typical metadata size is, I have a Gig of the stuff and wondering if these IP addresses are correct for your providers as the are consistently coming up in the logs. I looked up an IP address and it may have been a cloud provider but some of the websites hosted looked a little "sus". Image PID Address MediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe 5292 108.162.198.82 or 108.162.199.82 Image PID AddressMediaBrowser.ServerApplication.exe 5292 a125-56.204-112.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com Are these the correct metadata sources??? Cheers Willo
Willo 0 Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Just looked up assets.fanart.tv which seems to account for those IP addresses. It's still downloading a truckload of data and wondering why I'm getting those errors? Cheers and thank you
Willo 0 Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 The files are actually on a QNAP TS-439 pro which is an Intel atom based NAS. The NAS is joined to the domain and the permissions are set. The MB3 server and MB classic client sits on a virtual Windows 8.1 machine on ESXi 5.5. When I'm streaming I'm hitting around 8-14% cpu utilisation.
Willo 0 Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Hi There, Guys, can I please get some help. It appears I'm downloading an absolute crapload of data from the two IP addresses above. I usually only download around 75GB a month (here in Aust we are on plans with a cap). This month I'm downloading 4 times that and looking at my Firewall logs, it's from those two addresses. I have MB Trailer plugin installed, maybe that one?? Cheers Willo
Luke 42077 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 just go into the metadata configuration and disable images you dont want
Willo 0 Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Thanks, What do you mean disable the ones I don't want? Is around 150GB in meta data normal? Are they the correct ip addresses where the meta data comes from and I don't have malware? Cheers Willo
Luke 42077 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 no that's not normal, but we don't know yet that it was all downloaded by MBS. So you probably want to find out where in your hard drive those 150GB are first
