HTPCity_Planner 13 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Is the server running while opening mbc? did you start the server? I have to manually start the server every time I shutdown and restart my htpc.
HTPCity_Planner 13 Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 I was having slow startup times and some other weird things happening lately, so I went ahead and dumped MB Server and MBC and reloaded them onto my machine. I am now getting the following error when trying to open MBC: ERROR: Could not connect to MB3 Server. Be sure it is running on the local network. I thought I had everything running right. Attached is the MBC logfile. MBC logfile.txt
HTPCity_Planner 13 Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Didn't look like it. I had to manually start it up from the Start menu. How do I reset it up so that it automatically starts up when I startup my computer? That's how I had it originally. It's been a while since I did this the first time, so my recollection is bad...thanks!
bloodtaker 71 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) you will go to your dashboard localhost:8096/mediabrowser/dashboard/advanced.html find advanced and the settings are in there Edited January 20, 2014 by bloodtaker
HTPCity_Planner 13 Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Dashboard wont load. Just tried that, getting this error.. Google Chrome could not connect to localhost:8096
bloodtaker 71 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 find the server icon in the taskbar right click on it click configure media browser
HTPCity_Planner 13 Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Got it working.. Weird thing happening though. I'm getting 2 posters showing up in some of my TV series, in both EHS and when I click on the TV Series tab.
Logos302 86 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 think we need a picture. But I think what your describing is the watch/unwatched screen and the you see the same when you click on tv media folder if so that is normal behaviour.
