PrincessClevage 175 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Simple question: How can I deactivate the "Helloween mode" in Emby Server? I don't like it and the orange letters are ugly for me ...Click on the exclamation mark in Emby dashboard, then get presented with option to disable
denz 501 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I think it looks great. It was a pleasant surprise.
CBers 7451 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Click on the exclamation mark in Emby dashboard, then get presented with option to disable It's not a very obvious option.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 It's not a very obvious option. Pretty sure it is the same or close to option we has last year.
Cypherius 1 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Is it possible to get an admin way of disabling themes like this? I don't mind the feature, but I do mind not having control over how my server works and presents itself to the users. 1
Guest asrequested Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 That's cool...I love the music. I love it!
Tolerant 74 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Very annoying feature when it asks me if i I want it to continue and I say no, and it keeps going. No means No. Every life matters.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Does your browser accept cookies? If not the disable setting is never getting saved.
speechles 2055 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 No means No. Every life matters. Haw.. I certainly do not agree that both rape and racism have anything to do with this thread. Using that as a means to troll with is comicial. No means no, but 15 no's means yes. Its lives btw. All lives matter. Thats the right statement to troll with. @@Happy2Play isnt there some css magic that can be done here?
Guest asrequested Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Every life All lives Exactly the same lol
speechles 2055 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Exactly the same [emoji14] lol I love the political jokes. Vote Trump!!!

zh85 0 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 (edited) Does your browser accept cookies? If not the disable setting is never getting saved. Yes, double checked and its enabled. It kind of disables until I refresh the page, if I stay on the page the background and sound stops but the home button in the upper right corner stays orange no matter what I do. I tried to remove and add my custom css in and still no change to the home button color. If I F5 or reload the Halloween theme is back in full force. Any thoughts on how to remove it? I can deal with it for another day as I assume it will be off after tomorrow. I am a little worried it won't revert back as I am unable to disable it. When I access it through emby connect it disables just fine. Its when I actually access it locally or using my domain name that will refused to revert. Accessing on the server (ubuntu) itself with chrome does the same thing and only partially removes Halloween css until its refreshed. Cookies on all browsers are all enabled. Any thoughts on what would cause that? Edited October 31, 2016 by zh85
zh85 0 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Nevermind, got it. Just noticed there was an update and doing that fixed the issue and removed the halloween theme.
TopSideControl 11 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Nevermind, got it. Just noticed there was an update and doing that fixed the issue and removed the halloween theme. I also had to update to disable this theme. tbh I don't like applications that make changes to display settings without approval or prompt. 3
