Bug?; 3.0.8300; Photos album; "View Albums" view

Hi,

 

I am unsure whether this is a bug or a feature I don't understand.

In a photo library, I have the "some month" view open (i.e. clicking on any thumbnail, would open a photo in full size (the leave, if thinking in trees)).

 

Now there is this gray-three-three-dots-context-menu-circle in each photo thumbnail, containing a "View album" menu item. A click on this item shows the same thumbnails as already shown. The URL changes though, from

web/itemlist.html?parentId=asd123

to

web/itemlist.html?context=photos&parentId=asd123

 

In case it is a feature, how do I interpret the result?

Hi, thanks for the report. I am looking into it. What's happening is you're already on the album screen so having the extra menu item to view the album is redundant and not needed. Thanks.
