Photos: No images in index/group "Genre"

I thought this was a ROC Theme issue but it seems not be working in default theme either.

 

When I set my phoyo library to index/group "genre" there are no images for the genre folders visable.

All genre folders are generated in my IBN folder and in these folders are thumb.jpg, folder.jpg, backdrop.jpg and logo.png files but none of them do appear no matter what I do.

This has worked before so is this a bug or by design? Really like an image there.

Is this only a problem with photos?

 

I can't find anywhere in the log where it is even trying to get genre images but I do see some failures trying to get regular item images.  Plus a bunch of these:
