Sammy 790 Posted October 29, 2016 Author Posted October 29, 2016 the embedded lav filters is failing to load. It this folder empty? C:\Users\i5 Home Theater PC\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\ComObjects Either way, try shutting down the app and then deleting that folder. I moved this folder to a different location and restarted ET. Seems to be working fine now.
Sammy 790 Posted October 29, 2016 Author Posted October 29, 2016 I see the folder re-populated itself and has some new things in it. Thanks!
Sammy 790 Posted October 29, 2016 Author Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) I do not have the ComObjects folder? Is that normal? Make sure you are using your path and not mine. C:\Users\i5 Home Theater PC<your computer name>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\ComObjects Edited October 29, 2016 by Sammy
Guest Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Make sure you are using your path and not mine. C:\Users\i5 Home Theater PC<your computer name>\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Theater\ComObjects Yeah I know that ... my Emby theater folder has no com objects folder.
Sammy 790 Posted November 1, 2016 Author Posted November 1, 2016 Well when I deleted the one I had (moved it actually) it got recreated and had more codecs and such in there. My ET works beautifully now.
Guest Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 OK, I did find that folder I was in the Emby Theater folder not Emby-Theater... Deleting that folder helped on the first load. I still have the spinner between episodes of TV Shows. So I launch Emby go to a TV show, and hit Shuffle, First one loads instant. Then the second episode just hangs with the spinner for 2-5 minutes. Before Playing again. This only happens on the machine that hosts the server as well. I tested on all other computers in the house : 2 Windows machines, 1 mac book pro, 2 ipads, 2 different android devices. The only issue is playback in emby theater on the same machine as the server.. Thoughts?
Luke 42077 Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 @@Sammy The next release of Emby Theater will feature improved performance, hardware acceleration, and better multi-monitor support. If you'd like to try it out ahead of time you can do so here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/46763-theater-mpv-test/page-1 Enjoy.
