Emby server check for application/plugin update fail constantly

A month ago after updating to Version 3.0.7200.0 the scheduled tasks for app and plugin updates fail.

All outgoing http requests on your machine are failing. Specifically in this case it's unable to reach

api.github.com

But additionally, all requests to all other hosts such as tvdb seem to be failing as well.

Problem resolved with default gateway and is working again
