How to replace/scan metadata for ALL movies without losing existing artworks?

Hey there,

 

I've used to handle my metadata with TinyMediaManager (for Kodi), but it stores the actor images with the direct IMDB url.

How do I start a fresh "refetch/scan/replace" action to rewrite all metadata for all stored movies without losing the existing artworks (posters, thumbs, logos, etc)?

It's a endless job to do it for each single item

Okay, I guess I got this goin.....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I go to the Metadata Manager, hit the movies category instead of a single movie and then start a refresh right out of the movie category context menu, it will exactly do what I want?

It will although currently there is no way to visually monitor the progress, so it's best to do that overnight or when you're stepping out for a while.
