How to install Mx player - can't find on fire app store

Hi All

 

I missing something so basic i feel foolish posting this

 

Was gong to try and play with an external player for live tv

 

So MX player seems popular on this forum but can't find it on the app srore (on fire TV)

 

When i use Fire search it comes up with VLC, can't see it listed in the actual app store

 

I can see it on Amazon.co.uk but it keeps pushing me to install App store when i use my phone but of course errors as i using iOS

 

So how to install and push mxplayer either by ios, pc (windows) or actually get it direct on fire tv?

 

I sure my now you guess fireTV is my only Android device

 

Googling has got me spinning around for a hour or so with no sucess

It's not on the fire tv. My attempts to side load it also failed. I used vimu media player instead. Seemed to work ok from my limited testing

Is the Archos Media Player in the Amazon app store for the Fire TV ??

Why not just sideload SPMC instead?  It's a much better player.

The video below is how I side load the apk files. You will have to first download the .apk files to your PC that you want to side load to the AFTV.
