Movies freeze while streaming

I have noticed for a long time now that when I cast movies with chromecast at random times the movies will freeze. Sometimes they will start back playing after a couple minutes, sometimes I would have to close and resume where I left off.

 

At first I though it was my router so I upgraded to a netgear wireless access. Issue still occurred.

 

I recently purchased a xbox one s and I'm getting the same issue.
