mentasm 43 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Hi, I have 2 requests for the LiveTV section of the webclient. 1. Ability to search the guide to select shows to record. Not sure if its there and I'm missing it or if it isn't something that has been thought of or implemented yet. 2. Ability to change the view of the channels page. For me it displays the logos in large tiles which doesn't look good as the logos aren't that high res. Being able to select a small tile view or a list with logos along side of a text label would help keep a more consistent HD feel.
bloodtaker 71 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 on the #2 front you can adjust the images to your taste by uploading higher res images. like those below. there are a few channels that do not have logos as they are local channels wiithout logos. all the logos i have in there are png except for a&e forgot that one lol i convert them into 400x225 png on all of them to keep them uniform and in the guide they look great as well.

I have been using a small app that I found which downloads and installs the logos into WMC for me. I'll have a look and see what I can find. @@Luke Completely understandable that search is something to come. Just wanted to make sure it's on the wish list as it is the main thing I miss in the current implementation.

I SECOND this Feature Request. There is an option to Enable or Disable MANAGE LIVE TV RECORDINGS in the User Profile section, but I would like the option to DISABLE access to LIVE TV feature completely for some users. You could end up with remote / guest users locking up a tuner that you need for Scheduled WMC recordings.
