Eddie 12 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I understand MBC is a plugin for WMC and is what was used for MB2. MBT is a standalone client but still in alpha/beta. Is MBT supposed to eventually replace MBC once MBT matures? Once MBT matures will MBC support be discontinued? Would there be different reasons to use 1 over the other? Thanks in Advance Eddie
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) MediaBrowser Classic is for those people transitioning from MediaBrowser 2 and wishing to keep the the old interface style and integration with Windows Media Center. MediaBrowser Theater is for those people who don't want to keep integration with Windows Media Center. I understand MBT is the future though. There is no guarantee that Windows Media Center will always be here and Microsoft seems to be trying to kill it off. Edited January 20, 2014 by Wayne Luke
Luke 42077 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 i think for as long as WMC continues to remain popular we will support MBC. So there's no need to worry. The reality is there's a lot more we can do with a standalone app and that's why we're also pursuing MBT. Something for everyone.
cmcv 3 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Hi im using MBC but interested now in trying MBT. I tried it last night but had sound out of sink. Is there anything special I need to do to it as I know in VLC i could change the audio by a second or two.
psykix 97 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 You can change the audio delay in the LAV Audio Filter settings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

psykix 97 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Ah.. Not sure. I have no issues with sound out of sync tbh. Maybe someone else can comment :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Swynol 375 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 are you using MBT on your PC for playback on your PC monitor and PC speakers or are you outputting to a AV Receiver or another HDMI source?
