Theodore 136 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 This is a request for help and advice, so if it is in the wrong place please move it or let me know and I will repost it there. I have a digital antenna for OTA TV that I would like to get setup to work and play with Emby instead. The antenna connects to the TV through a coax connection so I know that I will need an adapter to connect it to my system, but I would appreciate it if you can share your setups for OTA TV and provide some suggestions for how to make it work the best. My setup is a client-server model with Emby running as a service on a Server 2008R2 VM (on ESX6) and providing to an Intel NUC (USB dongle necessary, no add-on cards possible) running Win7 Ultimate running WMC. Does anyone else have this kind of setup and getting OTA TV? How did you manage it? How would you recommend getting this to work? Thanks!
Luke 42085 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 If you plug that into a network HD Homerun you should be good to go with Emby.
ebr 16194 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Yes, get an HDHR Connect or Extend and connect it to your antenna and network and then configure it in Emby with a guide provider (Schedules Direct recommended). Live TV Wiki
