Recordings folder keeps reappearing

I can't seem to find where I have set the live tv recordings folder to be added as a library. Every Time I delete it from server dashboard library it auto re-appears it also gets added as a real time monitored library which causes server thrashing. Any suggestions where I can look to stop auto add of this folder to my library would be appreciated...

I understand that this is where you set where live tv will record to, my problem is that this folder keeps automatically being added to my Emby library (where you specify movies folder directory etc). I delete it and it auto adds back

next time it happens find the folder from library setup and make sure it is empty, then delete the library again.

I am having this issue as well and I was just coming in here to report it. I have done what you said above Luke, but then when a new recording is made that folder comes back. It didn't do this in earlier Server versions. I could remove the folder once and it wouldn't come back then.

You are not having this issue. If you are using the built-in live tv, you cannot remove the folder that it creates.

Can we hide it somehow? That recording path is a temporary path for me now because I am having to use MCEBuddy to remux the recordings to mkv until it's implemented in the server options. Unless you've added it to the Beta server (I am on stable). If so, I can update to Beta.

at some point it will be in beta. we cannot hide the library as it is used to provide support for recording libraries to all emby apps.

You are not having this issue. If you are using the built-in live tv, you cannot remove the folder that it creates.

Luke you have previously reported from logs that I uploaded that having live tv recorded folder in your library with real time updates was causing server to go into a crazy loop as recordings are being constantly modified. There are of course files in the directory so is there a way to permanently remove this folder and stop it being auto added to my library list?
