Emby "delete dialog"

I want to delete a colletion. When I press "delete" in "Colletions" or in "Metadata Manager" i get this dialog:

 

A. Media-Files

B. Library-Items of this Media-Files

C. Collection-Items

 

I assume only "C" gets deleted and I will still have the media AND and I will still have the media in the library.

 

Is this correct?

Please start using more than one generic warning dialog. No way the user can know what's actually going to happen when pressing "delete".

Hi, try updating to the latest version of Emby Server and the dialog will be slightly different. Thanks.

ok, will do. but for now can someone please tell me what actually gets deleted when I delete a collection?

Just the collection.

I deleted the collection but it also deleted all of the movies (only the ones that were in the collection) in the library. NOT COOL

 

all good now, I rescanned the lib and the missing items were back.

 

-> So I create a collection and when I delete the collection it not only delets the collection, but removes the movies that were in the collection from the library completely. IMHO this is a bug.

Hi, apologies, are you running behind on your server release? This was fixed a few couple ago.

Yes, I am running a little behind: Version 3.0.6400.0

 

I will fix this next weekend.
