Unable to update or download zip file

Hi,

 

I have been unable to update to the latest few releases.

The automatic update after downloading latest setup file, stops after around 1/3 of the way. No error, just sits there for hours.

 

If I try to download from the git-cloud server - it only ever gets to 2.1mb then stops and says network error or forbidden (see screenshot). Both in chrome and firefox.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

It was stable 3.0.6300 was all I could get to.

 

But that shouldn't matter for browser download??

 

Firefox, chrome on 3 different PCs can't download the zip file from the github

This has to be some sort of environmental issue - although, it may be out of your hands as well.

 

If you have any sort of program that attempts to monitor your downloads, try turning it off.

Thanks for your reply. No monitoring program. No anti virus. 3 different computers. All on the same network though.

Sounds like a network connection issue. I would try it again later.

I have been having this same issue for quite awhile now.  It is hit and miss.  It usually goes through the second time if the first fails.  There are also several topic on this same issue, so I would say it is an environmental issue.
