Godfarva 0 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Hello all. I host my Emby server on Centos7 and I have another Server just for live TV via ServerWMC. My issue is that my Live TV guide data is weird. Some channels have Station ID’s Most don’t, and none of my channel logos are being imported. Now the twist to this is this isn’t my first time experiencing this issue. I used to house Emby and my Live TV (ServerWMC) on the same box and now both my Windows Emby Server and my Centos Emby server have the same issue. I started to think that it was ServerWMC related but then checked my Kodi and both Station Id’s and logos are present, logic tells me that the backend is functioning as designed. This is what I have done so far. Refreshed guide (no change) I have also gone as far to delete my DB files and rebuild the library (no change) Any advice would be grate, and I have attached the log and screen shots to show. P.S. Emby on Linux is far better than windows. Emby Srerver Log.txt
Luke 42077 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Hi, can you please do the following. navigate to logs in the server dashboard, enable debug logging. then restart the server and run the refresh guide scheduled task. when it completes, please attach the server log. thanks !
Godfarva 0 Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 Here you go kind Sir Emby Srerver Log - Copy.txt
Luke 42077 Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 ok sorry can you also pull up the guide and then provide that log? thanks.
Godfarva 0 Posted October 17, 2016 Author Posted October 17, 2016 ok sorry can you also pull up the guide and then provide that log? thanks. Here is the Server log after going to the guide. I hope thats what you are wanting. I see no other logs for the guide, only remux and transcode and server 10-17-Log.zip
Godfarva 0 Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 Luke I have further details for you. Hope it helps. So when I’m in Guide I can manually add the channel logo but still no station ID. Now what’s odd is if I go to channels instead of guide I get the channel number and Station ID but no logo (except the one I manually added) I have reviewed the logs and see where emby sends a request to get the channel logo I.E. http://%serverwmc-IP%:9180/serverwmc/GetFile?fileName=Fox.png But does not get imported to the DB. I have verified that I am able to reach the logos from both my cent emby server and another windows workstation.
Luke 42077 Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 if you put the server wmc image url into a browser, does it have a content-type response header? and if so, what is the value?
Godfarva 0 Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 if you put the server wmc image url into a browser, does it have a content-type response header? and if so, what is the value? Hey Luke I think this is what your asking me for. Let me know if I am wrong. Content-Type:"image/x-png"
Luke 42077 Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Thanks, that might be the source of the issue.
Godfarva 0 Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 oh is emby looking for a specific file extension to import? if Need be I can change my Logo's to be jpg or another extension
Luke 42077 Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 it's not inferring the extension from image/x-png, so i'll add that. it was only matching png with image/png before.
Godfarva 0 Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 (edited) Ok cool. So this will have to be a fix deployed in a future patch? Or is there a cmd I can run ? Edited October 18, 2016 by Godfarva
