Just updated and the guide view shows what look like inactive icons for series that I have set to record that are not new episodes.  For example in the image attached I have Modern Family set to record new episodes only but for every instance that is a repeat I get the little grey icon that resembles the recording icon.

 

Not sure if this is a bug or a 'feature' - but for my 2 pennies it is confusing.  Makes me think I have recordings scheduled when I don't.

We decided to show it for series recordings where the episode is not currently set to record. Would darkening the icon even further help? @@denz what do you think?

Personally I will say this - I don't like any indication of recording activities unless that episode is set to be recorded.  Any indication makes me want to check the scheduled page to see if there is a goof-up somewhere when I see an episode marked I know is not airing at that time on that channel.  

 

But I am only recording new episodes I have not seen before.  I am not collecting episodes by recording reruns so I can see that there might be value in the indicator to some.

 

You guys went to a lot of lengths to simplify the guide view - and this clutters it up quite a bit when you record a lot of popular shows.
