Bear on the job 0 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 Ever since the last update, it seems the option to sort by "Date Added" is using the file modification date of the latest file in the media folder, instead of the selected option on "Library > Advanced > Date added behavior for new content". I have selected "Use date scanned into the library", and that has worked well in the past. But now when Emby updates images or subtitles in the folder where the media is, the sort order in the library view gets messed up. Is this a known issue, and are there any solutions?
Luke 42083 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 Hi, apologies, this is a one-time issue for certain content types. A change was made to the way the files are detected and I think it's causing some of your videos to be imported again as if they were new. This will not be something that is ongoing though. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any way to revert the library to the way it used to be? It's not a big deal, but it is strange to see movies that are months or a year old appear in the first 5 items. Re-scanning the library does not help, and choosing to sort by the file creation date also does not change the order.
Luke 42083 Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 You can just edit the date added value in the editor.
