Dynamic Images

Hey Guys, 

 

How do i force dynamic images for Live TV and Trailers? Movies, TV Shows, Collections are all looking really great with dynamic images but Live TV got this ugly blue image thing going on. In the past, it had it. Trailers, In theater images can be used to create a dynamic picture. 

 

I would love for everything to look consistent and right now they do not.

Delete the existing images.

Not sure how to delete it since there isn't a folder under root calls "Live TV" and "Trailers". Also if I select Live TV and click on "edit images", there isn't any images to edit/delete. Only have the option to upload one. 

 

If there is something I am missing, please, share.

Procedure:

 

Make sure your home screen shows large images (auto display)

 

1) in a browser, hover over the Live TV image in "My Media" section on the home page

2) Select the 3-dot vertical radial button and click on Edit Images

3) Delete the images displayed

 

From there i'm not sure, but would guess the server will run a job at some point to compile the new images.

That's what I mentioned above. There isn't anything to delete. It used to be this picture and now it's just a blue picture.

Ok, i understand, sorry. Currently there won't be one for live tv. Perhaps in the future. But we don't download the program images ahead of time so that's why at the time those dynamic images are created, there's no program images to use for a collage. So for now you'll have to devise your own.

Fair enough. I think Live TV changes constantly so the images should just be a static like it used to. Trailers in the other hand can be "in theater" images. Just my opinion. 

 

Do you mind sharing the path of where the generated pictures are stored? They used to be in /Emby/Emby/ProgramData-Server/root/default but they seem to have been moved. I plan on creating my own static images if I can use an existing ones as  an example.

Delete that trailer image and you should see something better. I would just grab the images using the browser because the file paths will have Id's in them and thus wont' be predictable.
