Cinema Mode feature

Hi, I use Cinema Mode all the time and it works great! 

 

I got some idea's for the Cinema Mode to make it more complete. 

 

- A Custom trailer path with settings like: Play X numbers of custom trailers before movie starts. (This will enable playback of custom stored trailers beside the normal trailers.)

- Ratings Video Bumpers (shows a custom Rating Video Bumber before the movie start) (Could work the same way as the "Codec intros path:" that it choose video based on "PG-13.mkv" etc.)

 

This would make the Cinema Mode more flexible, and makes the experience much cooler!

It would be possible, but then we have to tag all our movie with the right "rating" tag. That would take enormous amount of time. 

 

If the system was based on the already implemented rating system in emby, we could just name our ratings video like "PG-13" "R" etc.

 

I would also like to show of my custom trailers.

Yes, but it just choose a random video. 

 

I want to play trailers, some custom trailers, my hometheater intro, ratings bumper and audio format bumpers.

 

If i put the custom trailers in the intro feature it will just randomly select either a custom trailer or my custom intro. But I want it to play them both

Ah for that you need the old intros plugin. But don't worry according to Luke cinema mode satisfies all our needs...............

Well, it don't. I remeber the old intro plugin for MB2, it was pretty neat! 

 

I think a lot of people have custom trailers they would like to play before the show starts. I have alot of "candy" commericals and I would love to have a way in Cinema Mode to play those.

I know we can have custom intro based on tags but i wish it would use genres instead. Having to go back and add tags would take forever

Yup, we need an easier way to add custom trailers.
