JayGeorge 5 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Morning all, Hope you're well? I have a slight issue with Auto-Organise that i was hoping you can help with. I have a TV show, lets call it "the Goldbergs" and in my TV Show folder structure i have a folder called "The Goldbergs 2013" and i have aquired an episode that goes along the structure "The.Goldbergs.2013.S04E04.HDTV.x264-FLEET" but when i use the Auto-Organise function I get the dreaded red text that it can not find the location to move it to. when i choose the option to manually organise, choose "The Goldbergs" from the drop down list and press OK, it still doesn't organise it. Even when selecting save and apply for future doesn't make any difference. I have checked permissions against a folder that does work and the file permissions are exactly the same. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks, Jay
t10ake 0 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 try refreshing the meta data for the show. this normally works for me. the other alternative is that there is already a file in the destination with the same target file name? This should be handled with an overwrite prompt, but isn't always (in my experience). Hope this helps.
JayGeorge 5 Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 Thanks for the advice, unfortunately no good. I refreshed the date in the metadata manager and there is no file the same in there. I know usually if there is a file the same it highlights the filename blue instead of red. Thanks, Jay
CBers 7451 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 What does it say in the server log around the time you run auto-organise ?? You could try changing the name of the folder to "The Goldbergs (2013)" as I believe that's what it is known as on TVDB.
JayGeorge 5 Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 Sorry, it is named "The Goldbergs (2013)" I have ran the organise again and attached the log.... Thanks log.txt
CBers 7451 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 OK, so the error in the server log is: 16-10-14 10:28:12.8816 Warn App: Unable to find series in library matching name The.Goldbergs.2013 Perhaps you need to name the folder "The Goldbergs 2013" ??
JayGeorge 5 Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 OK...I've renamed the folder, and running a full scan. then i'll try the organise again. fingers crossed....
CBers 7451 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 I assume that the TV series within Emby is identified correctly?
JayGeorge 5 Posted October 14, 2016 Author Posted October 14, 2016 nope that didnt make any difference unfortunately. Yeh is is correct. if i manually drag it into the folder and run a full scan it does pull back the correct data
