RedBaron164 18 Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 I've noticed on my FireTV that if I hold down the skip button too long when trying to skip into shows it will reset playback to the beginning of the video. Has anyone else run into this issue and is there a solution? Is there anyway of changing the behavior so holding down the skip button will continuously skip instead of resetting playback position to the beginning?
ebr 16169 Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 I'm not sure what the repeat-rate is on that button but I imagine that it is continuously skipping ahead but maybe either too fast or in a stuttering fashion that is throwing the skip logic off. If you can cause the problem and then send me a log following the instructions under "Android TV" here then maybe I can tell what is happening.
RedBaron164 18 Posted October 13, 2016 Author Posted October 13, 2016 Ok, I'll try to pull the log tonight and send it to you.

So, when you get the new release in the next couple days, it shouldn't happen anymore. Thanks. 1

RedBaron164 18 Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 So my Firetv didn't update to the latest version of Emby so I uninstalled it and reinstalled to get the latest version and now the issue is gone, thanks.
